Brazil demanded answers following allegations Canada's electronic eavesdropping agency mounted a sophisticated spy operation against its ministry of mines and energy. Defense minister Rob Nicholson would neither confirm nor deny the report, but he said that he did not believe it would impact bilateral relations between Canada and Brazil.
