On November 17th, Toronto Mayor Rob Ford reacted to more shocking allegations about his alleged misconduct while in office. He told reporters on November 14th that he wouldn't stand for the lies anymore and planned to begin legal action against several sources responsible for the stories. As cameras rolled live, Ford astonished reporters and viewers when he referred to a claim that he made inappropriate and sexually aggressive comments about a former female staffer. Ford's comment followed a wild day at city hall that saw him confess to buying illegal drugs while in office and city councilors overwhelmingly passing a non-binding motion demanding he temporarily step down. That was followed hours later by new allegations from previously blacked-out information from police interviews with former staff that Ford was intoxicated at work, drank while driving and associated with suspected prostitutes.
