Canadian rock icon Neil Young launched a blistering attack on the Harper government and Alberta's oilsands at a news conference in Toronto prior to his first fundraising concert in a four-city "Honor The Treaties" tour in support of the Athabasca Chipewyan First Nation's legal battle to protect traditional territory from further industrialization. He said he visited one of the Alberta oilsands sites and was appalled. Young told the news conference that as far as the governing Conservatives were concerned, "money is number one, integrity isn't even on the map."
