Canada fell a win short of gold at the women's world curling championship in Saint John, New Brunswick and settled for silver. The Ottawa Curling Club team was upset 9-5 by Switzerland. The team took bronze in 2013. Second Alison Kreviazuk said they had to be satisfied moving one step up the podium instead of two.
