Ottawa Senators GM Bryan Murray announced he had Stage 4 colon cancer on November 13th. Murray said doctors told him the cancer had gone undetected in his body for seven to 10 years before it was finally caught in the summer. Senators coach Paul McLean said the team had come together in support of their ailing G-M.
