A Halifax-area man has pleaded guilty to violating a publication ban in a high-profile sexual assault case. David Winslow Sparks was charged in September after police alleged he posted the name of a sexual assault victim on a social media site. Outside Dartmouth provincial court, Sparks said he wants to put the matter behind him. (In July 2014, defence lawyer Lyle Howe was sentenced to three years in prison after he was found guilty of sexually assaulting a 19-year-old woman in March, 2011. Sparks, who violated a publication ban by posting her name on Facebook, will be sentenced March 17th.)
