A human rights activist says today's scheduled flogging of Saudi blogger Raif Badawi was postponed for a third week in a row. Badawi was sentenced to 10 years in prison and one-thousand lashes for a blog criticizing Saudi Arabia's clerics. He hasn't received any since the first 50 and activist Elham Manea says it isn't clear why the lashes were cancelled. (Badawi's wife, who lives in Quebec, joined an all-party coalition of MPs on Parliament Hill on Thursday urging Prime Minister Stephen Harper to intervene personally with the Saudis to push for his release.)
