A former archbishop who sexually assaulted an altar boy in the 1980's has lost his appeal. The Manitoba Court of Appeal says it agrees with the conviction of Seraphim Storheim and the eight-month sentence a judge imposed. His lawyer, Jeff Gindin, says he believed there were good grounds to appeal. (Storheim was taken into custody to start serving his sentence but could be released in three to six months.)
