Oilsands crude can now officially sent to Europe without a "dirty oil" label. A revised fuel-quality directive has passed in the European Union without any amendments. Tim McMillan is the president of the Canadian Association of Petroleum Producers. He says the news doesn't necessarily mean a lot of tankers of oilsands crude are going to be crossing the Atlantic anytime soon. (The original fuel quality directive singled out oilsands crude as more carbon intensive.)
