The mother of a search-and-rescue technician who remains buried in deep snow in Banff National Park says wants the world to know what kind of man he was. Sgt. Mark Salesse (sal-ESS') was training with others when an avalanche swept him off an ice-climbing route in the park last Thursday. Liz Quinn says her son loved a challenge and was a gentle soul. (Quinn says Mark survived a serious climbing accident during training in Colorado in 2011 and she thought he was invincible.)
