The RCMP watchdog says Mounties improperly took guns from flood-stricken homes in Alberta two years ago. In a report to be released today, complaints commission chairman Ian McPhail says the question is -- where did it go wrong? -- particularly from the perspective of the people in High River. (The move sparked a debate over gun rights, with many in the community saying police did not have the right to break into their homes and take their weapons. Most of the guns were eventually returned to their owners.)
