Nova Scotia's minister of justice says she will give the mother of a man who died in a provincial jail last April a report on what happened once police have wrapped up their case. Lena Metlege Diab says for now she can't discuss why 23-year-old Clayton Cromwell died of a methadone overdose he wasn't prescribed. (Cromwell was found unresponsive in his cell at the Central Nova Scotia Correctional Facility on April 7th. An autopsy obtained by The Canadian Press says he died of the overdose even though he wasn't prescribed the narcotic used to treat addicts.)
