A Saskatchewan reserve where two children were killed in a house fire has had a working fire truck for several years. But it has really never been used. Richard Ben is chief of the Makwa Sahgaiehcan (sah-GAY'-gen) First Nation. He says the truck was bought used about five years ago. (The chief says the recent deaths have prompted him to resolve a dispute with the volunteer fire department in the neighbouring village of Loon Lake and get started on plans to form the reserve's own fire department.)
