The fire chief of the southern Manitoba rural municipality of Morris says the volunteers who responded to a blaze this morning that killed four children are trying to deal with the tragedy. Bernard Schellenberg says the crews did their best. (The mother saved three other children from the 90-year-old farmhouse. The flames kept the father and the fire crews from saving the four who were in rooms on the second floor of the house.)
