New Brunswick Attorney General Serge Rousselle says the provincial government will leave it to its two health authorities to ensure abortion services are available. Those health authorities will offer the service in Moncton and Bathurst. Rousselle says the government has improved access by eliminating a rule that required women to have two doctors declare the procedure was medically necessary. (Jessi Taylor of Reproductive Justice New Brunswick says only providing provincially funded abortions in Moncton and Bathurst has always been a huge barrier.)
