Three of Alberta's four government aircraft have now been sold. Alberta Premier Jim Prentice made the sale of the planes his first priority when taking office. He says the 6.1 million dollars will go back to government coffers and there is no need for a government fleet. (Prentice says he still remains optimistic the fourth plane will eventually sell.)
