Preview Clip

A 22-year-old Montreal man the Mounties fear will commit a terrorism offence has made a brief court appearance. A summons was issued on Monday for Merouane Ghalmi to appear before a Quebec court judge to sign a peace bond that would include a number of conditions he would have to follow. But Federal Crown Attorney Lyne Decarie says the case was postponed until March 27th to allow Ghalmi's lawyer more time to review the evidence. (Ghalmi has not been charged with anything and it's not known why the RCMP are concerned about him because the contents of a sworn affidavit have been sealed.)
