Newfoundland and Labrador Premier Paul Davis says he stands by his commitment to accept the recommendations of a committee that looked at the province's access to information system. Davis told reporters in Toronto that he needs time to review the 90 recommendations in the report and the proposed legislation that was attached. (The report, which says application fees should be eliminated, amounts to a rebuke of access to information restrictions brought in by Newfoundland's Progressive Conservative government in June 2012.)
