A Canadian special forces soldier has been killed in what the military says was a friendly fire incident in Iraq. Sergeant Andrew Joseph Doiron died Friday and three other Canadians were wounded when they were mistakenly fired on by Kurdish forces they had been involved in training. Defence Minister Jason Kenney says there will be a full investigation. (The Harper government is considering whether to extend Canada's contribution to the war on the Islamic State militants in Iraq and Kenney says Friday's incident won't influence the final decision.)
