A Canadian woman who died in a freak accident in Mexico after a whale jumped out of the water and crashed into a tourist boat has been identified as 35-year-old Jennifer Karren. She was on a small inflatable vessel as it was returning from a snorkelling tour Wednesday off the coast of Cabo San Lucas. Anna Hall is a marine mammal zoologist in Victoria, B-C. She says the odds of a whale jumping into a boat are small. (The tour boat company, Cabo Adventures, says the woman was tossed into the ocean and a guide and another passenger jumped in to save her. She later died in hospital.)
