A B-C First Nation is one step closer to exerting control of its territory after a historic Supreme Court of Canada decision that gave it land title. Tsilhqot'in (sill-KOH'-teen) Nation vice chairman Roger William says the band has reached interim agreements with the province, and will continue to negotiate to reach permanent decisions. (The landmark ruling last June gave the Tsilhqot'in the right to make decisions about how the band's land is used.)
