The Canadian soldier killed in Iraq last week is being buried at Beechwood National Military Cemetary in Ottawa following a funeral mass this morning. The service for Sergeant Andrew Doiron at Notre-Dame Cathedral was private. Canadian Press reporter Andy Blatchford says some people from a Kurdistan group stood across the street from the historic church holding up signs thanking Doiron for his sacrifice. (Doiron died when Kurdish forces he was helping train fired on he and other Canadian soldiers returning to an observation post.)
