The complait in the trial of suspended senator Patrick Brazeau testified today as the case opened. Canadian Press reporter Terry Pedwell says the testimony came after the presentation of some evidence by a police officer. (Brazeau was charged with assault and sexual assault after an incident at a home in Gatineau in February of 2013. He has pleaded not guilty.)
