The federal government has introduce a motion to expand and extend Canada's war against the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant. Prime Minister Stephen Harper told the House of Commons today Canada's mission will be extended, under the motion, beyond Iraq's borders. (The motion seeks Parliament's permission for an extension of the mission "to a date not beyond March 30th, 2016.")
