The coast guard says it hopes to get a close look at the damage done to one of its icebreakers that struck a rocky shoal off Newfoundland and began taking on water. Captain Jim Chmiel (Shh-MELL) says the Ann Harvey is anchored off the south coast after being towed early today by the coast guard ship Louis S. St-Laurent. (Chmiel says divers were being flown by helicopter to the St-Laurent and would inspect the hull for punctures.)
