Canada's Pat Simmons beat Finland 6-5 today to improve to 9-and-1 at the Ford world men's curling championship in Halifax. Simmons hit a winning draw for two in the last end for the win after his opponent flashed his final stone. Canada is tied with Norway in first place. Simmons says it's still a battle for the top seed.
