A Calgary woman has been fined 10-thousand dollars after more than 30 dogs were seized from her home. Beverly Jean Creed pleaded guilty today to causing an animal to be in distress. Brad Nichols, manager of cruelty investigations with the Calgary Humane Society, explains what he and other officers experienced when they went into Creed's bungalow last May. (Veterinarians determined 17 of the dogs had been in medical distress. Nichols says the fine is the largest ever handed out in Calgary.)
