Alberta P-C leader Premier Jim Prentice says it is time to restore the Heritage Savings Trust Fund to its original form. Prentice says previous governments have strayed in using the fund which was set up by former Tory premier Peter Lougheed as a rainy day fund for future generations. He says there needs to be less reliance on energy revenues. (Prentice says he expects 25 per cent of energy revenues will be funneled into the fund.)
