The Winnipeg Jets erupted for four unanswered goals in the third period and went on to defeat the visiting Calgary Flames 5-1 in their final regular-season game. Jets' centre Michael Frolik, whose 19th goal of the season proved to be the winner, felt his team just managed to get through the meaningless game in which most of the key starters on both teams didn't dress.
