A new study has found that many medical marijuana patients are struggling to access cannabis under changing federal regulations. UBC researcher Rielle (re-ELLE') Capler says about one third of the 450 people who responded to the survey said they had no choice but to buy pot illegally. (Old regulations allowing people to grow pot at home were to be replaced last year by a new program requiring patients to buy from commercial producers, but a federal judge has yet to decide whether the new laws are constitutional.)
