Newfoundland and Labrador's premier is backtracking after telling the legislature he directed the RCMP in its probe of a deadly shooting involving an officer on his security team. Paul Davis says he misspoke and has had no direct involvement. But Erin Breen -- the lawyer for the dead man's daughter -- says a force outside the province should investigate.
