Prime Minister Harper says it's unlikely Canada's greenhouse gas reduction targets will be the same as ones announced in the United States. It's the first time in 20 years of international climate talks that the two trading partners have parted ways on the issue. Speaking in Winnipeg, Harper said his government will announce its targets next month. (The US said last month that it plans to cut emissions by up to 28 per cent by 2025 and Canada has long said it would align its targets with its major economic competitors, including the United States.)
