Ontario schools are already dealing with escalating strike action by high school teachers, and now a so-called parents and students strike could keep even more kids out of classes. A group of parents is threatening to pull their children out of school this week to protest Ontario's new sex-education curriculum. John Cassels, a father of two, joined a rally at Queen's Park protesting the curriculum. He says his children are staying home today and he's considering keep them out of school all week. (The Toronto District School Board says at least one of the city's elementary schools had an absentee rate of more than 90 per cent today, the first day of the campaign.)
