The Conservatives and NDP are poking holes in the economic policy announced by federal Liberal leader Justin Trudeau. New Democrat MP Nathan Cullen says there are at least a couple of things missing from the policy. (Trudeau announced that a Liberal government would hike taxes for the wealthiest one per cent to pay for more generous child benefits and an across-the-board income tax cut for the middle class. Employment Minister Pierre Poilievre says taxes on middle income earners would go up under Trudeau's pledge to eliminate so-called income splitting for families with children.)
