Omar Khadr has been granted bail. Alberta Court of Appeal Justice Myra Bielby ruled the federal government had not proven that releasing him would harm Canada's international treaty obligations or pose a safety risk. The former Guantanamo Bay prisoner's lawyer Nate Whitling says this will be quite an adjustment for Khadr after almost 13 years behind bars. (The court has attached a long list of conditions to Khadr's release.)
