Public Safety Minister Steven Blaney says the federal government is disappointed by an Alberta judge's decision to release former Guantanamo Bay prisoner Omar Khadr on bail. Blaney isn't saying whether Ottawa will take the matter to the Supreme Court. (Blaney also addressed a comment made by Khadr's lawyer calling Prime Minister Harper a bigot who doesn't like Muslims. Blaney says Harper has taken a strong stance for victims during his time in power. He also says people should be treated with respect, no matter if you agree or disagree with their opinion.)
