Premier Kathleen Wynne says threatened job actions by Ontario's elementary teachers and strikes by high school teachers are a challenge for parents. Wynne hopes negotiations with all the teachers' unions are completed by the fall, and she wants to see an end to strikes by high school teachers in three regions before classes end next month. (More than 70-thousand high school students are out of class because teachers in the Toronto-area boards of Peel and Durham as well as in the Sudbury area are on strike.)
