Manitoba's Opposition Tories are asking the auditor general to look into whether the NDP government rushed construction of Winnipeg's CFL stadium. The stadium is the subject of a lawsuit alleging it was poorly built and over budget. Progressive Conservative Leader Brian Pallister says ongoing fixes are driving up the cost of the project. (Premier Greg Selinger says he can't comment on specifics because of the lawsuit. He says he has no problem with an auditor general investigation.)
