Nearly 300 firefighters, a dozen helicopters and two dozen pieces of heavy machinery are helping battle a large blaze raging in B-C's Central Interior. Fire Information Officer Melissa Klassen says the Little Bobtail Lake fire south of Prince George is the biggest of several fires currently burning in the province. Klassen says this much activity so early in the year doesn't bode well for the summer fire season. (Police believe the Little Bobtail Lake fire is human caused. Investigations are underway to determine what exactly sparked the blaze.)
