Incoming Alberta premier Rachel Notley says her NDP government won't be tabling a full provincial budget until the fall. Notley says her government doesn't want to rush into anything that is so important to the province. (Notley says the legislature will be asked to approve what she called an "interim supply budget" to finance the operations of government in the meantime. She says the legislature is to reconvene June 11th, with a speech from the throne four days later.)
