Newfoundland and Labrador says it won't give up minimum processing rules for fish caught in the province under the Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement between Canada and Europe. Business Minister Darin King says Rob Moore, the federal regional minister, was in the province last week but didn't offer to continue related talks. (Moore says the province is essentially asking for a blank cheque for compensation that was never promised. The trade deal known as CETA (SEE'-tah) is now being finalized.)
