A trial date is expected to be set at the end of July for a man charged in the deaths of a Calgary couple and their grandson a year ago. Douglas Garland was arrested last year following the disappearance of Alvin and Kathy Liknes (LIK-ness) and five-year-old Nathan OBrien. A judge ruled there was enough evidence to send the case to trial. Garlands lawyer, Kim Ross, says his client is coping. (Garland now faces trial on three counts of first-degree murder. He was initially charged with two counts of first-degree murder and one count of second-degree murder.)
