Wildfire fighters from two Maritime provinces are heading to Alberta. Twenty firefighters from Nova Scotia and two from PEI will be in Alberta for 14 days. Nova Scotia Natural Resources Minister Zach Churchill says other jurisdictions have helped his province before. (A number of wildfires have been burning in northern Alberta with an evacuation earlier this week affecting nearly five-thousand people around Wabasca, more than 300 kilometres north of Edmonton.)
