The New Brunswick government says it will save 30-million dollars over the next five years by consolidating four government agencies. Victor Boudreau, the minister responsible for the government's strategic program review, says the agencies will be absorbed into Service New Brunswick into Service New Brunswick. (Boudreau says the savings will be achieved primarily through the use of new technology and automated systems. He says there will be job cuts but it's too early to say how many jobs will be lost.)
