The New Brunswick government says it will save 30-million dollars over the next five years by consolidating four government agencies. Victor Boudreau, the minister responsible for the government's strategic program review, says legislation will be introduced to absorb the functions of the New Brunswick Internal Services Agency, Department of Government Services and FacilicorpNB into Service New Brunswick. (Boudreau says there will be job cuts but it's too early to say how many jobs will be lost. The government is looking for up to 600-million dollars in cuts and new revenue in time for the budget it will deliver next year.)
