A Calgary man will face a trial next spring for the stabbing deaths of five young people at a house party last year. Matthew de Grood will be tried by judge and jury. His lawyer, Allan Fay, says it's too early to discuss a not-criminally- responsible defence. (Since de Grood is the son of a Calgary police officer, an out-of-town judge will be brought in to preside over the trial to avoid any appearance of bias. The trial begins May 16th, 2016.)
