A group of modern-day war veterans has agreed to put a class-action against the government on hold while reforms are worked out. The group of six former soldiers will pause their legal action until May of 2016 -- a date after the federal election. The ex-soldiers' lawyer, Don Sorochan, says they didn't bring the lawsuit forward as a legal exercise. (New measures have been introduced since the class-action was filed, including new pain and suffering awards, expanded access to permanent impairment allowances and retirement income security benefits.)
