Preview Clip

The wives of three fallen Mounties say the outpouring of public support has helped them and their families in the year since their husbands were gunned down in Moncton, New Brunswick. Angela Gevaudan (zheh-voh-DEHN), Nadine Larche (LARSH) and Rachael Ross stood before dozens of people gathered at a ceremony today in Moncton. The force has been criticized for not providing its officers with adequate resources. But RCMP Assistant Commissioner Roger Brown says the Moncton detachment is better equipped than a year ago. (Constables Dave Ross, Fabrice Gevaudan and Doug Larche were killed by Justin Bourque on June 4th of last year. Constables Eric Dubois and Darlene Goguen were wounded.)
