Tim Hortons has brewed up controversy by yanking ads by pipeline giant Enbridge from its in-store screens. The coffee chain told Twitter users the spots will no longer air on Tims TV. About 28-thousand people had signed an online petition pressing Tims to cut ties with the oilsands shipper. But the move angered supporters of Canada's oil industry. Allison Johnson is a professor at Western University. She says Tim Hortons shouldn't have run the ads for Enbridge in the first place. (Tim Hortons declined to comment.)
