Vancouver police refused to act earlier this week on a judge's order to clean blood, urine and vomit from the jail cells of two prisoners. B-C Supreme Court Justice Catherine Bruce was responding to reports from terror suspects John Nuttall and Amanda Korody (kuh-ROW'-dee) when she ordered the Vancouver Police Department to provide them with more sanitary accommodation. Nuttall's lawyer Marilyn Sandford says the conditions are dreadful and that something must be done. (The Vancouver police say they won't comment for safety reasons.)
